In a normal year, we’re an auditioned ensemble who meet weekly to practise for our regular concerts as well as Unibrass. Due to COVID-19,we’ve made the decision this semester not to run auditions, and to go completely online, so anybody who is interested can get involved! We’ll be running online sectionals, talks, virtual concerts and more for our members. It’s a perfect opportunity to get a taste for brass bands if you haven’t before, with no stressful auditions.

20/10 In Conversation with Howard Croft, Opera North Chorus Manager

Howard studied at RCM before coming a freelance baritone and now works as the Chorus Manager at Opera North. It will be a very insightful talk for people who are looking to go into the industry. If you have any specific questions to ask Howard do get in touch with Thomas Clough, MUMS Opera Manager. Tom will try to cover as many topics as possible during the question time.
