Valentine's Day is all about love but this week we will focus on self love as that is just as important. Whether you want to make something for a friend, partner or yourself, you will not want to miss this session.
We'll be making an optimistic origami box..!
All you need is:
• glue (optional for securing folds or glueing on paper decoration)
• pens (for fun patterns especially if you have white paper)
Paper: ideally 2 pieces of A4 but bring whatever you have! The brighter coloured the better :)
We're making 2 boxes, one for the base and one for the lid so 2 contrasting colours if you have them (Wrapping paper would work if you have that). Feel free to bring extra paper for cut out decorations on top.
I'll also show you how to make a bird decoration from the remaining paper and for that you'll need in addition:
• a hole punch
• string for a hanger
Wellbeing Wednesday is in partnership with the Music department Peer Mentor scheme and is open to every student at the University of Manchester with or without a MUMS membership, sign up for the event by clicking here.
